Dr. Sonja Stribling is a Licensed Clinical Counselor turned Life and Business Strategist, this former HR Director, and highly decorated combat veteran retired as a Major after serving in the United States Army for 21 years. A master in empowering audiences to be resilient, this former semi-pro basketball player, and mother of three boys has had a life full of obstacles to overcome.
As a mother of 3 boys and a divorcee after being married for 18 years, she knows all to well the mindset of a woman who wants more but just doesn’t know what that more looks like or how to get to it. But one thing she does know after living the life of:
• Having a child at 15 years old
• Being raped and left for dead at 17 years old
• Joining the military and retiring after serving her Country for 21 years
• Being a combat veteran (serving 3 combat tours one to include Iraq for 15 month)
• Being married for 18 years, and going through a divorce that took 3 years to dissolve
• Losing houses and cars
• Being clinically depressed
